Vape Inventory and Reorder Guide for Small Wholesalers
Good wholesale buying is not measured by how many products you can list. It is measured by how quickly useful stock turns into cash and how confidently you can place the next order.
Track sell-through
Record opening stock, units sold and remaining quantity by model and flavor.
Protect winners
Reorder proven products before they reach zero stock.
Stop slow stock
Do not scale a flavor only because its unit price is attractive.
Use three simple product groups
- Reorder: repeat customer demand and steady sell-through.
- Test longer: some interest, but not enough evidence yet.
- Stop or reduce: slow movement, complaints or poor margin after delivery cost.
Set a reorder point
Estimate average weekly sales and the time needed to confirm, prepare and deliver the next order. Reorder before remaining stock falls below expected sales during that replenishment period, with a modest buffer for delays.
Use small MOQ as a learning tool
A 10 pcs per flavor test can reveal which flavors deserve a deeper second order. Scale the winners rather than repeating the entire original mix.
